| I fell asleep watching the five o'clock news yesterday and I woke up at eight this morning. Eep.
Yesterday I was taking an essay test in English, but since there was a substitute, most of the class wasn't really working on it and instead talking to each other. Which brings me to my favorite quote of the day:
"Hey guys? Does this essay have to be grammatically correct? Like, with periods and stuff?" - Calvin.

i'm too much of a music nerd to not like bands!
long story short:
i suck.
this is how i get into a band.
first way: I hear them, and I straight off adore them.
Examples: Ani Difranco, The Decemberists.
second way: I hear a song or two, but it takes a while for me to really get into them.
Examples: Belle & Sebastian, Metric.
third way: I hate a band. Hate them hate them hate them will poke their eyes out with a fork if i ever see them. then i start listening to them more. aaand they kinda grow on me.
Most Recent Example: They Might Be Giants.
